New Horizon Baptist Fellowship would like to thank all the churches from Hardin and Larue County, businesses, and individuals who helped with sending a semi-truck load of much needed supplies to West Liberty, Kentucky on the 24th of March.
New Horizon Baptist and Harvestland Community from Hodgenville took 20 people to West Liberty on the 24th of March to deliver the supplies and spent the day working with clean up and organizing the supplies for distribution. Our plan is to return to West Liberty the week of June 2-9 and assist families in the rebuilding of their homes. We hope to return with another truck load of supplies and material and will be accepting donations through Wednesday, May 30th at noon.
In 32 years of being involved with missions around the world and responding to help people after seeing the destruction and devastation in West Liberty I have never seen a greater need for help. Again, thank you to all who helped in any way and for those who would like to be involved in the June 2-9 Mission Trip please call (270) 737-4386 and leave a message for the pastor or drop off your donations at the church on Sunday or Wednesday of each week. Please no furniture or clothes at this time.
